About the Library

Mission

The ICOM Medical Library empowers the adoption of evidence-based practices by providing seamless access to high-quality information, engaging learner-based instruction, and promoting the Library’s resources. The Library’s collection and services enable the faculty to adhere to the highest teaching and scholarship standards, the administration to practice research-based management, and the students to develop a spirit of inquiry they will use when caring for patients.

Vision

The ICOM Medical Library will be an essential partner in research, scholarly activity, and education at the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine through information access, instruction, and resource management.
